First Day of Work

When I went into WMDH today to start training to take over the Production Manager job, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I knew it had to do with commercials and stuff, but I had almost no clue about the logistics and the shear amount of all of it.

Today, I was almost overwhelmed with all the stuff you have to do. However, near the end of the day, I was getting the hang of most of it.

Another two days of training and I'll be on my own. At least in the sense that Kyle, the current Prod. Director, won't be there to guide me anymore. I'll have to write, produce, edit and mix, and load various spots with a minimal amount of help.

Now, the editing/producing/mixing thing isn't what scares me. It's the writing bit. I'm not the best writer... just go back through the 350+ things I written in TGM and that should lay it all out for you.

Writing just isn't my strong suit. Granted, with time and practice I should get it down to good science.

I just wish I had more than three days to train. I think I could learn a lot more, but I guess I'll just need to look off my notes and cheat sheets...

Oh, I better make some notes/cheat sheets for next week. CRAP.
