The Whereabouts of the "POA"

Hey loyal TGM followers,

I was bored the other night after surfing the internet for the umpteen billionth time and decided to activate the nostalgia by reading old journal entries. It was pretty awesome to see the evolution of my thoughts and craziness over the past two and a half years. There was, however, an erratic difference that occurred in the later half of my 200+ entries. The 'Percent of Awesome', my numerical calculation of how great my life is at the time of the journal entry, has gone missing.

I know what you're thinking and I sympathize with your sadness and grief. The POA was, for a time, and very essential part of Teddy Graham Memories. Unfortunately, this blog has outgrown such contrived elements and evolved into a better, stronger entity.

Actually that's all bullshit. I just got lazy and don't do it anymore.

However, that got me thinking about the other elements I've used over the last 1/5 of a decade to keep this blog going strong.

-The Greeting: Barring several exceptions, such as my "Late-Night Boredom" period at the end of my sophomore year, the "Hey (random semi-funny reference to people)" has been a big part of all these entries. I don't expect that to ever get old.

-Honorable Mentions: Thankfully, I've kept this little deal alive enough over time to not totally get rid of it like I did the POA. Although I will admit that I don't use the Honorable Mentions as much as I'd like, my cop-out is the fact that I didn't have much use for it last semester. That'll totally change this fall. I'm super serial.

-Podcasts: My compy here at home is dumb and I've been too lazy to record podcasts. This will also start back up when I get back to school. Maybe I'll even get guest narrators like James Earl Jones and Mya Angelou to record the podcasts... yeah, that would be sweet.

-Photo Safaris: People like these even though they take a bitch-load of time to do. For example, my Las Vegas Photo Safari took 2 non-consecutive hours. I almost killed a small pony because of my mounting frustrations. It was pretty bad.

-Videos: This is much more of a recent addition. I haven't heard much feedback about this one. I like them though. Youtube rocks my socks off.

I'm probably forgetting a few other things. If you think of them OR have some cool ideas for ways for me to spice up the old blog, feel free to leave comments. Those never get old.

Kickin' it Naptown Style,

~Nate-O
