The Obligatory Star Wars Entry (Take 3)

Let me start by explaining the title of this little entry. Since Thursday, I've been meaning to write a half-way decent review of the new Star Wars movie. Trying to make it cool by using a bunch of fun blog-enhancements but failing miserably becuse the HTML code I put in decided to take a stab at my nuts and not work. I tried a second time only to have the same result. So, I've decided not to use those damn things again and try a more traditional approach to this entry.

Now, back on track: I went and saw Episode 3 last thursday since it was a crappy day and I couldn't go to work. Rain, on the other hand, doesn't hamper my ability to go see a movie. So, thank you Mother Nature for giving me the day off (you heartless bitch).

The movie rocked my proverbial socks off. It tied the loose ends together and if you're anything like me (a freak who remembers the most mundane quotes and shit from movies) you'll have a lot of fun with it. Although it's kinda weird when you're the only one laughing at the inside jokes.

Ok, now here are a couple of movies I plan on seeing this summer:
-The Longest Yard
-Cinderella Man
-Lords of Dogtown (unless it sucks)
-Mr. and Mrs. Smith'
-Batman Begins
-George A. Romero's Land of the Dead (I like these Zombie Movies)
-War of the Worlds (Since this comes out the day after my birthday, I may be drunk/hung over when I see this)
-Fantastic Four
-Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
-The Island (only because I think Scarlett Johanssen is hot)
-The Pink Panther (I fear this may suck but Steve Martin is hilarious... let's pray for the best)
-Domino (Keira Knightly + hot bounty hunter mode = I'm gonna see it!)
