(W)RAPPING

X-Mas is a mixed bag to me.

On the one hand, I enjoy getting presents.

On another set of hands, I don't neccessarily enjoy the "giving" portion.

Oh sure, I'll go out and shop for my family. I always enjoy going out and spending money and I at least this time of year I can feel good about it because I'm giving my family something they would enjoy.

What I don't like is the wrapping of the gifts, because I suck at it. I just got done wrapping 6 of the 8 presents I plan on wrapping this year. (One of the others is at home because it is a joint gift and I don't have to wrap it. Same with another gift for my cousin's husband whose name I drew in the secret santa thingy)

At least the BIG gift for my neice looks pretty good. The rest I could really care less about. At least I TRIED. Plus, they're just going to rip it all off anyway. (And they mostly know what they're getting... so who cares?) It's the thought that counts at least.

In other news, I'm still on the fence about getting an X-Box 360. I mean, I REALLY DO WANT ONE... and there is a simple way of going about getting it... but I don't know if that's what I want to do right now. I'm still probably going to give away my PS2, but I could get some money for it one way and have a good chunk of change for the X-Box.

And I really want to play Fallout 3. It looks like such a badass game!

Basically, it all sucks no matter how you look at it.

Work REALLY BLOWS right now. We're giving away free advertising as a promotional event and it's making me want to throw myself in front of a bus.

This is pretty much a really lame idea and I hope we never do it again. I don't get paid enough to do twice the work for no extra incentive.

I'm honestly thinking about putting together a resume and sending airchecks to other radio stations... but it probably won't happen. (Since I'm a chicken shit)
