Half-Way Home

It's Thursday morning, and these next four days are the ones I've been dreading since Monday. But don't think it's been easy going since then, the past three days have been just as crappy as I think the next four will be.

Monday wasn't too bad. I had my week planned out well enough to where I could get everything done in a timely fashion. So I went home that afternoon and watched the season finale of the Terminator show and all seemed right with the world.

Then Tuesday happened...

Our entire e-mail system around the office failed. So I got to sit around and do just a bit more than nothing all day. But that was just a pre-cursor for yesterday.

My production computer went down overnight and yesterday morning I had to spend a good chunk of time re-working the computer back to the way I had it. (But it still isn't there yet.)

Today I have three spots to get done before Noon. Why Noon? Because I need to leave at that point because I get to do the night show tonight on the air. 7-midnight. Then I get to do it all over again tomorrow.

On top of all that, I have my normal on-air shift on Saturday AND Sunday I'm on the air from 2-8pm. An extra two hours of my favorite music genre...

I seriously be the one getting the production job, because this week is most likely amounting to be my crucible/baptism by fire/initiation.
