It's been a pretty interesting week. Especially since it's been four days since my last day at work and I have been (nearly) awesome ever since.
I added the "nearly" because I've been sick since Monday. It's gotten a bit better since I've actually had non-expired medicine to help alleviate my symptoms.
Monday and Tuesday were nice days to just hang out and not do much. Brianne, Ryne and I did go feed the ducks on Monday which was cool. I think I could train a couple of those disease-infested poultry and turn it into a circus act. I'd charge $3 to see them catch frisbees and fly through hoops of fire.
I got to dress like a banker again yesterday for the TCOM Internship Fair. I was in my power suit for about 8 hours straight. Thankfully I had a bat because I was having to beat the women away every couple of seconds. Not that I can help it, I'm pretty hot when I'm in my power suit. Total sex-machine... with a tie.
I haven't heard anything from the broadcasting place where I had my interview. Hopefully something develops 'cause I need more experience. Hell, I'll even settle for an unpaid internship.
A few promising leads from the internship fair also responded favorably about trying to get me something part-time. (Ok, one response out of 3, but that's not bad in this market)
Oh yeah, I'm procrastinating again tonight. I really don't want to read this stupid book and do the writing assignment. It's one of those self-help motivation books that we have to read for my management class. One word: Boring.
At least after class tomorrow I will be ready for week 4 of Flawless Victory. I think we're finally getting dialed in to the awesomeness we had last semester. I'll remember to post the link so you all can listen online (that is if they've fixed the god damn webstream...)
Homecoming is Saturday. It will be my last one as a student and I'm pretty excited about it. Now I just need to find some friends to go tailgating with.
Then, as if my week wasn't long enough, I get to go to Indy on Sunday morning to attend my neice's baptism. (Wow, I still can't believe I'm an Uncle. It's still pretty surreal)
Good Update. More Later.
