I'll be glad to be done with school because I won't have to do any more video-related stuff.
Don't get me wrong, I don't mind making videos and I can edit together a mean piece of work. I'm just not as interested in doing video as I am with audio and radio stuff.
I suppose that is why I'm procrastinating putting together my script for my big video project of the semester. The plan is to make a video for Disabled Student Development about how to positively interact with people who have disabilities.
Since my brother is autistic and I've done a video about his Special Olympic Swim Team, I know I can put together a very good video because I have a connection to it.
But, as it always is with video production, the most important part of the production is the pre-production. I'm all set to write the first draft, I just have to persuade myself to buckle down and type it all out. Of course, my laziness is starting to kick in once again and I'm neglecting it until tomorrow. (Which is the deadline for having it done... LOL)
In other, better news, I'm two mid-terms down with one to go. I'm fairly certain I did well on them both. My COMM 320 test was especially easy and I would guess that I'll get an A for sure.
Also, I got word that the folks at WMDH New Castle are interested in starting me in a internship/part-time board operator. I'm pretty excited since I really need more experience in commercial radio. I'll post more info later as I get it.
This weekend will be spent at home. My parents want to go see their favorite musical act before they disband for the season and I owe them that since I couldn't go home last time. So I'll be watching my brother and getting my brakes worked on. Maybe I'll take the time to put together a second script draft, shot-sheets and finalize a cast list for my video. But, I doubt that. LOL
