Hey you four,
I say that because there are (so far) four people who have signed up to read my newly privatized blog. I know it sucks, but certain people were starting to gain access (namely my incredibly nosey Father) and drastic measures had to be taken. Perhaps, one day, I'll set TGM back to public... some day.
Anyhoos, it's Independence Day and I'm only feeling a bit patriotic. Why? Because I just spent another 45 minutes filling out these god forsaken job applications.
Yes, I'm gonna quit Beefs. After a lot of thinking and my Dad saying he'd help me out 'til I find a new job, I'm gonna go and drop the official bomb tomorrow when I go in. I'm gonna finish out the pay period and get my one (and only) paycheck where my raise kicked in.
I plan on leaving a note to Rob (AKA Captain Braceface) pertaining to why I think he needs to overhaul his management techniques and attitude if he plans on keeping his employees happy and (therefore) a prospering resturant.
I've applied to Kohl's, Marsh, and Rack Room Shoes so far. Ainjel told me there is going to be a spot open at Menards and I still need to apply to a few online applications (JC Penny and Books a Million). Hopefully somebody will call me back with an interview offer.
In any case, I still need to call the Plasma donation place and set up an appointment to see if I'm healthy enough to donate and make some extra money. I think it's a possible 50 bucks every two days. The only downside is that I'm not a big fan of needles... but I'm a trooper so I'll get over that pretty fast if I have to.
Corey, my former co-worker from Beefs, turned me on to a new website that has a bunch of movies that you can watch from home. I ended up checking out "Van Wilder 2" and actually enjoyed it for the most part. There are a few more I need to check out, but if you're interested, the address is .
I'll keep you updated on how my bosses take me resignation and my job hunt.
