Outta here in '07?

Hey turtledoves,

Seeing as how I was REALLY bored, I decided to see when I might graduate from good old BSU. So I activated the internet and did some spelunking.

I started with my Major requirements. With my production option, and assuming I don't fail TCOM 384, I will have 27 credit hours to complete to get that degree. This is also assuming I don't fuck up in Fench for this semester AND next semester.

When I figured this out I was, of course, super hella excited. I almost went and bonged a beer. However, I re-evaluated the situation and remembered that I'm trying to get a minor in meteorology.

As you can expect, I was a little disheartened. So I checked the website and, sure enough, I will have to take another 6 hours from those classes to qualify for a minor.

However, this isn't all bad news. Every class I could take after this semester will be three credit-hour courses. So, hypothetically, 36 hours remain after Spring 2006. It would be a bit of a bitch, but I would need to take 18 hours each semester to have a shot of completeing everything by May '07.

As of this semester, I have earned 68 credit hours and that qualifies me as a Junior. Tack on 36 and I'll have 104 credits by May '07 and...

Oh holy fuck...

How the fuck did I miss "International/Global Studies"?!?!!?!?!??!?

That's gay. I have to take another fucking core class... I THOUGHT I'D BE DONE AFTER THIS!!!

Of course, after further reading, I now realize I never needed to take Philosophy since my French Classes would've fulfilled this requirement...

NOW I have to take one semester with 21 fucking hours if I want to graduate in May next year...

Plus I'll be taking the Writing Compentency Exam this semester in April. At least I'll get THAT shit out of the way...

Man, I may be a bit of a hermit next year. Of course, there's always the possibility that I'll just break down and take a summer class or two and graduate in summer 2007. But hey, we'll see. Right now I need to bong a fucking beer to clear my head.

So, after further examination, here's the new figures.

After this semester, I will have 82 credit hours. Not quite enough to be considered a senior (that would require 96 hours).

126 is the number of minimum hours required to graduated. I'll be 44 hours short of this number after this semester.

So, push comes to shove, I'll most likely be here until December 2007. Fuckin' bullshit man... fuckin' bullshit.
