The Art of "Ice Walking"

Hey snowmen and ice princesses,

Just to preface this whole entry (for those of you who haven't noticed)... IT'S FUCKING COLD OUTSIDE!!!!

On that note, lets start complaining about it.

17 degrees is not a good temperature to start your day. Let alone when you have to walk through it to get to class. But, I swallowed my pride and did it anyway. Definitely not fun.

Especially not fun when you don't have any traction on your shoes and the ground is pretty much just a sheen of ice. My five year-old tennis shoes have almost no traction, therefore I have to watch every step I make or I may end up cashing in my "you broke your ass" insurance policy. (I'm considering a trip to goodwill to buy a pair of tennis racquets and converting them into snow shoes. That could be a fun day!)

I'm just waiting for x-mas so I can get me some fancy hiking boots so I don't have to even think about the ice and snow and badgers that constantly attack my family. Those bitches will think twice when I stomp on them.

"But Nate-O, why don't you just go buy some new boots?"

Thank you imaginary dumbass who asks painful questions...

I lack the funds to invest in boots. My money will be going toward food, electricity, and x-mas presents for my badger-stricken family.

Ok, enough about ice. Lets talk about something else. Such as what my schedule looks like for the next two weeks.

-Finals left to take: 3
-Finals on Saturday: 2
-Projects/Papers due before finals week: 2
-Chuck Norris films required to watch: Zero (which, by the way, is a fucking sacriledge)
-Days of Finals week where I will have NOTHING TO DO: 3
-Classes I'm currently failing: Zero
-Classes I could potentially "fail": 2
-Worries: Zero
