The Kung-Fu Grip, Judo Chop, and Roundhouse Wang-Grab!

Hey guys and gals,

Over the past few days I've been listening to some newly downloaded music. It started with "Canned Heat" by Jamiroquai, and then I splurged a bit and downloaded some music from one of my favorite Kung fu movies: "The Last Dragon." It's about this black dude who learns to master kung-fu and defeats this evil martial arts instructor who thinks he's the best. It's pretty awesome. But, since I don't own it, and I felt like watching a kung fu flick, I went to the staple of kung fu movies.

I watched "Enter the Dragon." And, as always, it rocked my socks off. Bruce Lee knew how to kick some serious ass. Being made in the 70's, the cinematography is a bit lame. But it makes up for it with awesome fight scenes, brief nudity, and over-the-top sound effects. Especially Bruce Lee's sound effects. Everytime he hits someone, it sounds like he's breaking a tree limb. AWESOME!

After that, Robby began to recall his own martial arts training. He started to spar with Bonnie and things nearly got out of hand. It eventually evolved into "slap sparring" and "wang-grabbage" on Bonnie's part. They suggested I get a girlfriend so we can all have a sleep over and watch movies and kickbox.

On that front, I'm not having much success. Oh well, I can't expect to have a girlfriend two weeks after my break-up. It's not realistic in any case. I only have one prospect and I have no idea how that's gonna end up working out. It'll probably end up being a "just friends" sort of relationship. But, as always, I tend to keep my hopes artificially inflated. Being positive is one of the few values that keeps me going in life. Hoorah!

Tomorrow I have a French quiz. It's gonna SUCK MAJOR BALLS! Then again, I say that about any quiz/test. It's sort of a tradition; I expect the worst, but hope for the best. It's worked well so far. So let's continue hoping shall we?
