Hey bi-peds,
It was friggin cold this morning. And I mean COLD!!! I think the wind chill was below zero. By the time I got to class, I wasn't sure if my ears were still attached. The only reason I knew was because I could still hear my music.
You'd think growing up in Indiana would make me immune to some the winter's chills and stuff. But, that hasn't been the case. I dispise the winter time. It's like a curse or something that I have to suffer through on a yearly basis.
I must've been from a tropical land in a previous existence. I only say that because whenever I go to Florida or something, I feel right at home. Sure the sales tax is through the dang roof, but that's a small price to pay for being in a climate I can enjoy thoroughly. 'Cause one of these days, I'm gonna leave the drudgery of the temperate climates behind and head for warmer pastures.
I can't wait to be lounging on the beach behind my house, drinking a soda, and listening to Frank Sinatra or something soothing like that. Yeah, that'd be sweet. Let's all imagine ourselves there for a second...
Ahhhh............ how refreshing.
"So Nate-O, are you going to a warmer climate for spring break?"
Thank you for asking and opening a fatal wound in my imagination!! I have not the funds to bankroll such a trip. If I did, I'd definitely head down south somewheres. But, alas, I'll be spending spring break at home eating cheese doodles and watching old reruns of Sanford and Son.
Actually, come to think of it, I don't like cheese doodles. OR Sanford and Son. I wonder why those two things popped into my head...
I need a brain exam I guess. But not tonight, I've got rush and SET team. So that'll be fun... NOT!
