The Montage of My Life

On the way home from work today, one of the radio stations played "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor. This song has become one of the quintessential songs about perseverance, triumph, and determination in the face of adversity. Oh, and it's the perfect song for a montage. We owe that to Rocky III.

I was thinking, then, what current events in my life would be like in a montage format... and then realized it would be very boring.

It's hard to make something inspirational and entertaining when all you do is wake up, drive 35 minutes to work, yell into a microphone for 8 hours, drive home, then watch TV until you fall asleep. Try it, I dare you... I'll wait...

---

See? Doesn't really work does it?

Well, put on your favorite montage music, because I think I just had the best idea EVER!

---------------------
The Nate-O PICTURE Training Montage!!!

Our Hero... just living his life.

The plague that must be conquered! But who is strong enough?

The protagonist decides to take the challenge.

He hires a brilliant corner man and trainer...

... and begins his training!

The pain the man must endure is intense.

The media says he's a one in a million shot.

However, he keeps on training.

He subsists on only the finest diet.

His fans believe in him.

His training is complete!

The promotional aspects of the contest are something new for our hero, but he takes it with much humility and has fun with it.

The other challengers are fierce and fight hard, but the hero looks on as they fall one by one.

The crowd cheers on their last chance!

His Focus: Perfect
His Form: Flawless
The Outcome: Only time will tell

His opponent lands a cheap shot. Our hero is dazed. Can he continue?

YES! SWEET VICTORY!

He even gets the girl!

And calls his mother to let her know he's OK.

Once again, Nate-O proves his awesomeness.
