Moving Out

T-Minus 5 days and counting until Operation: "Move All Nate-O's Stuff". Or, M.A.N.S. for short. (Wait a second...)

Anyway, I have a crap-load of packing, cleaning, and more cleaning to do. I mention that twice because we've let the apartment get a little messy over the past few weeks. Oh well, shit happens.

I'm really looking forward to living in my new place. It's going to require a little more, for lack of a better word, maintenance because I have to pay the water and sewage bill and don't want any pesky mold showing up. I'm gonna have to stay alert.

However, though I am ready to move to a new place (psychologically), I'm not looking forward to the actual act of moving. Truth be told, I hate moving. It's just a pain in the ass, which is why I stayed here at Windsong for two years. If I had the money, I'd hire some other sap to move all my stuff... but I don't so I can't.

I have another week of work ahead, and another damn baseball game to produce on Tuesday. Having to sit in a little room for three hours (or longer) listening to an old windbag that's probably half-fossilized rather than go home and do something constructive like pack for my move is getting on my nerves. I plan on having a talk with Brian or Paulette about this little venture and letting them know that we could easily find some college kid with half a brain to do that crap next year.

Let just hope this all goes fast and smooth... and that's what she said.
