Calm Down

Wow, two blogs in one day. How stupendous.

Ok... seven paragraphs. I just counted. Seven. In response to my quite sarcastic and understandibly douchebaggy comment about my former roommates not doing the dishes before they moved out of the apartment. Seven.

Let it go. I only wrote it down for posterity. Besides, I can't recall too many instances where we all had a big meeting about dishes or overall cleanliness of the apartment. What I do remember is various notes being strewn about and no real accountability for cleaning up after ourselves.

Cleanliness isn't exactly my top priority right now. I'm not in a relationship (this comment will probably open a whole can of worms about me being not worth a woman because I can't clean up well enough and blah blah blah). I'm a single guy. Guys (especially bachelors) are typically messy, bottom line. And yes, that's my defense. Take it or leave it.

Was I upset at the time? Yes. Did I suck it up and do those dishes? Yes. Did I put the dishes that weren't mine or Jake's in the vacant bedroom like a child? No. Do I now feel bad for putting that snide remark in my blog. Yes and I apologize. I really am glad you guys now have a place you can be away from us filthy guys. (For lack of a better way to put it)

So just let it go already. What does it matter what I thought at the time? And honestly, even though this is a response, I don't feel bad for being messy. It's who I am. Get over it.
