Workin For a Livin

Man, I've been pretty busy this past week. And work was only about the half of it.

On Saturday I once again jumped into Eagle Creek Reservoir for the Special Olympics Polar Plunge. Holy Crap was it cold! Thankfully my balls didn't ascend into my body cavity.

But, it was all for a good cause. My Brother once again earned the coveted "Most Money Raised by an Individual." He raised just over TEN THOUSAND BUCKS! Four-peat baby!

While he was getting his award, my mother was looking around the reception hall and noticed some people looked pissed off. Which therefore pissed me off because he and my Dad bust their asses to get that kind of money. AND it's all for charity, so who the hell cares how many times he gets the award, as long as it makes a difference in the lives of all the athletes who participate in Special Olympics?

But, I digress. This week at work has been a bit of a bear. I've had to produce a fair amount of spots AND we had to completely wipe our production computer because it was attempting to take over the world or something.

At least I got my second "interview" at the station. Basically all I had to do was produce a commercial from scratch. I was pretty proud of it and I hope it's enough to get me to the third interview... if there even IS a third interview.

I should know by next week or so whether the job is mine. So YAY!


Now, back to work.
