Leaving Beefs... again

I've finally decided to quit Beefs for good.

With the amount of school work that will be piling up in the upcoming weeks and the fact that I can (hopefully) get a job doing something that will benefit my future career as a Radio broadcaster, I'm 95% committed to leaving Beefs.

The other 5% are mostly formalities.

The first formality is actually telling the General Manager, Brian, that Sunday September 23rd is the official start of my two-week notice. I told Dave, the assistant manager, about my decision and he mentioned our discussion to Brian over the phone. For some people, this would be satisfactory, but I owe it to Brian to tell him to his face about my decision.

The second formality is my Dad. I'm going to call him tomorrow morning and let him know what I'm gonna do. I'm sure he'll understand and be happy I'm trying to find a job more suitable to what I want to do after I graduate in December.

The only good thing about this time around is that Captain Braceface probably won't fire me. With Brian being the main manger guy now, I can have him assure CB that I won't steal anything and I'll still work my two-weeks.

My tentative idea is to try and get a part-time student job at Indiana Public Radio. If that falls through, I'll just get some non-food related student job on campus that is more flexible. Sure it will pay less money, but it's better than working at Beefs.

Hell, getting pooped on by Sasquatch is better than working at Beefs.

I'll keep everyone posted as to what happens. I'm optimistic that this is the moment where things will start going better for me.
