Sunburn Hell

Note to self: Don't underestimate the power of the sun.

It was the annual Sertoma Club Charity Golf Outing today. The outing is to benefit the Special Olympics group that my brother is involved in and I drove the complimentary drink cart around the River Glen golf course in Fishers. I didn't mind much since it turned out to be such a beautiful day.

The only problem was that our cart didn't have a roof like the other golf carts.

I did put on sunscreen though... just not on me knees. It just didn't come to mind when I was preparing for the hours of riding ahead. (I figured my shorts would stay over my knees enough to protect them from that asshole called the Sun)

Now, I have some wicked sunburns on my knees AND my head hurts from having to ride around in circles all day hocking drinks at waspy mofos while a very attractive chick who actually worked for the golf club ran around in her cart making much more money and/or tips.

So I'm just ready to go to bed now and do very little tomorrow. I did enough today to cover a whole weekend of stuff... at least in my mind. (But my mind is hurting, so me need sleep.)
