Hey my friends,
I wasn't scheduled to close at Beef's tonight, but I got conned into it. And by conned, I mean the manager told me to close and I did because I'd rather not get fired.
Sometimes, closing isn't too bad. It's mostly just a routine that everyone follows and is just time consuming more than anything else. That is, unless we have to do/clean extra stuff that just adds on more time to the routine. One word for that: Urg.
Seeing as how I'm in rant mode now, figure I should make a list of the top 3 worst things about closing the kitchen at Beefs.
#3: Dishes - Jesus Christ we have a lot of dishes. I didn't sign on to work at Beefs to wash dishes. That is a job for a machine, or someone who doesn't speak english. I speak fluent english and I'm not a robot. Therefore, I shouldn't have to wash dishes.
#2: Chicken Guts - The tubs that we keep the chicken wings in get all gouped up with chicken remains. When I have to wash dishes (see above), the remains have to be dumped out. Then I have to wash the tubs and it FREAKIN' STINKS. Not fun.
And the #1 reason I don't like closing the kitchen at Beefs: It takes forever - Nuff Said.
Ok, enough bitching. Sorry. Maybe I'll post something more fun tomorrow.
