Teddy Graham Memories... A Brief History

Hey pizza rolls,

I had a request to talk about some history stuff. I don't feel comfy enough telling all the possible strangers about my life and my most intimate secrets and dreams. Instead, since we are fast approaching the 200th post on this here blog, I say we look back at how this whole damn journal got started... the orgins if you will.

So, without further adieu, let's get funky.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

June 28th, 1984: Nathan Baker is born in Indianapolis, Indiana. His parents, Chuck Norris and Farrah Fawcet, decide the child is too powerful and gives him up for adoption.

April 5th, 1994: Nathan realizes his powers of awesomeness are beginning to show signs of maturation. He keeps this a secret for many years, not wanting the attention of certain government officials who would manipulate these abilities for their own end.

August 1999: Nathan starts his final years of mandatory education at North Central High School.

August 2001: Nathan enters the Radio/TV production class at J.E.L Career Center.

October 18th, 2001: While in Radio/TV class, Nathan is given his first taste of HomeStarRunner.Com and becomes hooked on the "Strong Bad E-Mails" section.

Date Unknown (Pre-College): Strong Bad E-mails puts out E-Mail # 88 titled "Couch Patch." This will eventually have a profound effect on later events.

August 2003: Nathan begins studying Ball State University. In the coming weeks, he would become known as "Nate-O" to people on his floor to distiguish between another Nathan. The nickname stuck.

Spring 2004: Nate-O meets Jake King. The two become fast friends... but rumors of their love affair have been greatly exaggerated.

November 10th, 2004: After frequently reading Jake's "Teen Open Diary", Nate-O finally decides to start his own journal. Things look bleak, however, when he can't think of a title for his journal. Alas, remembering Strong Bad E-Mail #88, Nate-O decides to name the journal "Teddy Graham Memories." His first entry is met with general signs of support. Nate-O finally decides it is time to unleash his powers of awesomeness on the world.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

And the rest, as they say, is history. If you want more details, I've got almost 16 months worth of archives to skim through. There have, of course, been a few changes over time, but the general awesomeness of this journal hasn't changed.

There is no boundary I won't cross and things are continuing to go strong for TGM.

With all that said, I need a cookie...

Honorable Mentions
-----------------------

Jake: Thanks for the inspiration.

Everyone I have ever mentioned in TGM: Good times or bad, you are what motivates me to keep writing this crazy stuff. Thanks for all the support.

Me: Even after 180 posts... I'm still awesome.

Letting the good times roll,

~Nate-O
