Anticipation

Less than a year since I started this here Journal and we've almost made 100 entries (this one is number 99 in case you've lost track). I don't think I've been committed to much of anything for an entire year. Usually the laziness just kicks in and I quit whatever I was doing.

However, I was able to fend off that sonofabitch and keep on truckin' along with TGM. It sure has been an interesting ride hasn't it? Let's reflect for a moment.

-I started posting on November 10th, 2004. I can't remember the exact moment, but I sure as hell didn't think this would last.

-My journal survived many of my drunken stupors, a relationship break-up, two other "pseudo-relationships", a lot of drama, and several episodes of the O.C.

-Several spin-off journals could be credited to the success of TGM. Jake, Rob, Ryne, Carrie, and most recently Kate have all activated their blogger accounts with varying degrees of success. Plus, "The Villiage Idiots" community Blog has been doing fairly well after two months of operation.


Wow, somehow I doubt things could be better. Well, they could be if I had a Mountian Dew right now. But I don't.
