Baby's First Entry

Hey humanoids,

Being the pseudo-conformist that I am, I decided to follow in the footsteps of coolness (namely the coolness of one Jake King) and start my own "journal". "Diary" is too woman-ish. And I no longer have long hair, so I'm not as woman-ish.

Onto biznass. This week is craptastic to say the least. I have two tests, a TON of fraternity stuff, and multiple papers to write. Above that, my girlfriend and I are on the verge of breaking up for the second time in less than a year. I'm artificially keeping my hopes up so that I still have some lovin' to come home to.

But, I'm trying to make the most of it. I ate a salt and pepper covered pickle at McDonalds and then had FIVE cups of coffee at IHOP a few days later with enough sugar to power a small scooter for 6 minutes. Fun times.

So I don't have much to write about (mostly because I'm not that creative), but I have thought of a way to keep track of how my life goes on this thingy. Between entries I'll calculate the "Percentage of Awesome." Like the title dictates, it measures the amount of awesome I'm getting in the period of writing translated into a percentage.

You may think it's lame, but that's just jealousy cause I thought of it first.

Current Percentage of Awesome: 47%

Honorable Mentions for this entry:
-Jake: For the inspiration to start this journal. (Thanks for the cool points)

-Robby: My room mate who does "big things".

-Me: For doing Moderately Sized things.

With much crap,

Nate-O

Retrospective from 2008

Ah, my first blog entry. A sunny day in my dorm room if I recall correctly. As you can plainly see, I took most of my cues from Strong Bad's e-mails. I also remember eating the salt and pepper covered pickle. That was definitely a very stupid thing to do... because I'm not a very big fan of pickles.

Anyway, thi entry pretty much speaks for itself. You can pretty much blame Jake for the next four years of TGM...

Thanks again Jake.

I like it, and I like it a lot. So keep writing, and I'll keep reading, but only if you sit behind and read over my shoulder, because otherwise I will lose interest in about two seconds and do something that I will momentarily consider to be more productive, like contemplating the meaning of the word "bubble." Ok. Bye.
